With breath retraining you can learn to rebalance your system & help heal yourself naturally. Unhealthy, unbalanced breathing leads to reduced levels of oxygen being released into the cells.

Over-breathing causes something known as the Bohr effect which is the holding onto of oxygen in the blood after it has left the lungs, preventing it being released into the cells due to reduced Co2 levels, this leads to a reduction of oxygen in the cells.

Workshops & accompanied CD’s are suitable for anyone & introduce you to a range of simple, but powerful breathing exercises that can help you to retrain the breath for self healing & optimal natural health.

Learning to retrain the way we breathe in a natural healthy way by primarily using the diaphragm, allowing more space and freedom to breathe in, rather than being fearful or tense using the chest or abdominal muscles, which many people use that restricts our breathing.

The exercises can be adapted to be used anywhere at anytime to help induce peace & calm to manage emotions naturally, empowering oneself, enabling you to work through difficult challenging moments & manage any stress in your life by staying present using balanced breathing.

In the group breath-work you are taken on a journey beyond the conscious mind to explore our unconscious patterns held in the Kundalini, to help let go of the past pain & programming that restricts us.

This process can often result in a deep experience & practitioners are advised to feel ready for a powerful process that can unlock and release suppressed emotions and feelings. Participants often report a profound sense of peace and contentment from the practice when completed.

A workshop including an introduction to the Healing Power of your breath! & a deep medative self inquiry practice with body sensing & iRest Yoga nidra.

See how the breath is such a powerful tool for self discovery & personal development. Suitable for all levels, this workshop gives an introduction & grounding to working with some simple but powerful basic breath work exercises. Also serving as preparation for deeper more advanced Pranayama practices and iRest Yoga Nidra. This guided meditative practice of self enquiry is suitable for all. It take you on journey through the physical body, experiencing it as pure sensation, go beyond the feelings & thoughts to connect with an inner space of pure being. Into silence & deep relaxation.

Simply sitting with self

A course for counsellors, care workers and therapists.

This tailor made training was primarily designed for drug and alcohol workers to give them the tools to offer basic self relaxation sessions to clients, using healthy basic breathing techniques.

The workshop allows them to show clients how to manage stress, anger and anxiety by using their breath. Exploring the link between, thoughts, feelings and breath from both a medical, scientific perspective and a spiritual meditation practice, offering a tool to deal with difficult emotions and feelings, while also introducing basic meditation for further self enquiry and to learn the importance of sitting with self.

By giving staff the medical background and an understanding of the effects of trauma, stress and fear that can be held in the body and its affect on the breath, teaching them these techniques to use for themselves and also deliver short group sessions of 5-10 mins (backed up by CD's) to clients.

The sessions will encourage clients to remember to use these easily accessible tools when the need may arise during challenging times in life, as well showing them the importance of having some discipline in their life, particularly when it comes to having some quiet time for a connection to an inner place of peace.
