Even though this group is not affiliated to any particular 12 step programme, it's my way of giving back. Meditation has had a profound affect on my life. I have studied it tirelessly for the last 17 years since finding the 12 step programme, and now want to share my experience in a donation based (to cover the rent so it's self supporting) weekly drop in.
The practice of Irest Yoga Nidra is a simple 10 step process that bought together years of enquiry into different practices. I had travelled the world to find ways to heal my own traumas that were at the root of any addictions. It took years of searching and trying to fix something that finally helped me realise that there was nothing to fix. That part of means wasn't damaged. As that grew, healing became spontaneous from a deep place of awareness. A constant state of grace that is there as I surrendered more and more to rest in just being.
I now want to share this simple yet profoundly transformative practice that is recognised for helping heal PTSD. So please join me join me on a Tuesday evening at Cascade recovery in Brighton.
